Stone Cold Queen are a Cambridge based band who play tribute to Queen & their music.

Yes, we play many of their well known tracks such as 'One Vision', 'We are the Champions' & 'A Kind of Magic', but we love playing the songs where Queen really rocked, with songs from such classic albums as 'A Day at the Races', 'The Game' and 'Sheer Heart Attack'.

As Stone Cold Queen, we have decided that we don’t want to be like other Queen Tribute bands that just go on stage and recreate Greatest Hits I & II (thankfully not Greatest Hits III). We decided right from the start to be a tribute to Queen 'the live band', and as such decided that we wanted to perform the songs that made them one of the greatest live Rock bands ever.

We play songs from their shows in the early ’70s such as 'Keep Yourself Alive', 'Son & Daughter', 'Ogre Battle' and 'Stone Cold Crazy' of course! We have also worked in some live favourites from the ’80s such as 'Dragon Attack' and 'Tear it up' – these are songs that most people probably won’t recognize as Queen songs, but they were integral parts of their live shows through the years. Added to these songs, we also do live versions of many of the more famous Queen songs and the result is Stone Cold Queen!
